Kathy MacInnis Kathy MacInnis is the Assistant Coordinator of the Magnificat Central Service Team. She is also the founding coordinator of the Magnificat West St. Tammany chapter in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Louisiana. She appeared on EWTN Live on March 26, 2008 along with Marilyn Quirk, founder of Magnificat, where they were interviewed by Fr. Mitch Pacwa about the ministry of Magnificat. Kathy is a wife, mother, and has been caregiver to her mother for 14 years. She also was previously caregiver to her father-in-law for 14 years. Kathy can relate to St. Teresa of Calcutta's words: "Give yourself fully to God. He will use you to accomplish great things, on the condition that you believe much more in His love than in your weakness." Through the joys and challenges of Kathy's life, including a bout with cancer, the Lord has guided and molded her. He has blessed her and shown her the path He has in mind for her. The Lord has brought Kathy to a place of abandonment to the will of God, and she has an amazing story to tell of God's working in her life. Come and hear Kathy's story of how God brought her to this place of abandonment to His holy will for her life. |
